From December to February, presents amore humid condition with dead flat waters. Catching mostly Blue Marlin, and Yellow Fin Tuna.
A quick guide, you can expect to catch -
Blue Marlin - May to November;
Black Marlin - May to November;
Striped Marlin - August to November;
Wahoo - May to October;
Yellow Fin tuna - November to June;
Mahi Mahi - May to October.
Vanuatu is a fisherman's mecca. The warm and deep currents attract different deep sea fish throughout the year from the delicious ‘Poulet' to the Dogtooth Tuna, Yellow Fin Tuna, Wahoo, Mahi Mahi, Sailfish and the majestic Blue, Black or Striped Marlin. Regardless what you use, light or heavy tackle, you are guaranteed to have a major adrenalin rush catching any of the above. They will all give you a fight.
